CELEBRITIES COME WITH NAAF TO VISIT LOUISVILLE SLUGGER MUSEUM & FACTORY
Children from Kosair Children's Hospital were ecstatic as celebrities Raviv Ullman (Phil of the Future), Louisville natives Kynt and Vyxsin (Amazing Race) came to Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory to join hands to help raise money for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation (NAAF). The kids huddled all around Raviv, Kynt, and Vyxsin as they signed autographs, took pictures, and chatted away with these spirited children. It was a fun field day for these kids as they had an experience they will never forget!

Louisville residents cast over 7,000 votes to choose from 20 local attractions in the contest’s first year. The award recognizes which historical and cultural sites are the top attractions in Louisville. Not only does the museum display some of baseball’s great pastime players and artifacts, you can also take a tour into the factory to see how MLB bats are made today. EMERALD ASH BORER INSECT THREATENS BASEBALL BATS
The Emerald Ash Borer is an insect native to Asia that has arrived in parts of North America. It is destroying northern white ash trees at an alarming rate. Ash is one of the primary woods used for professional baseball bats. You can help prevent the spread of this insect and its devastation by not moving firewood. The Emerald Ash Borer spreads quickly when people move firewood across distances. Please, cut or buy your firewood locally and burn locally!
