HOURS:
Guided factory tours begin at 9:00 am, and the last factory tour of the day departs one hour before closing. Factory tours last approximately 25 minutes. There is no bat production on Sundays or holidays. Bat production varies at other times, based on factory needs. We cannot guarantee you will see bats being made. Visitors normally allow 2 hours for the entire museum and factory experience. Everyone receives a miniature souvenir bat at the end of the tour!

Louisville observes daylight savings time April through October. This schedule is subject to change. Sometimes the factory shuts down for reasons the museum cannot control. We cannot guarantee you will see bat production on your tour. Check the “What’s New” section or call 1-877-7-SLUGGER (877-775-8443) option 0 for updated information regarding hours and bat production schedules.
Museum & Factory Tour Production
The last tour of the day begins one hour before closing. Bat production is usually finished for the day when the last tour goes through, so you will probably not see bats being made on that tour.
There is no bat production on holidays or Sundays. Bat production on Saturdays runs April through November only. When no bat production is taking place, visitors still tour the manufacturing facility and view videos of each step in the process. Check the “What’s New” section for updated information in the bat production schedule.
Put Your Own Name on a Bat
Personalized Bats can be ordered when you arrive, and picked up before you leave when there is production in the factory. If the factory is shut down the bats can be shipped to you.
Accessibility
The museum and factory are handicap accessible, with closed-caption and listening devices available in our theater. The regular tour does include some steps; a handicap accessible door allows this area to be bypassed. There is some dust and loud noise in the factory.

Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory is located on the corner of 8 th and Main in the heart of downtown Louisville. You can’t miss us - just look for the World’s Biggest Bat! A parking garage operated by the city is conveniently located directly behind our building and some street parking is available.
